A beautiful relaxing Sunday !

Here in Texas it is nice and cool. After taking apart, ( which I will never do again), and cleaning my keyboard after the kids spilled milk in it, I deceided to take the day off and relax. I have my day all planned out, I plan on crocheting and drinking my coffee all day long.

I found a beautiful Star afghan pattern that I had to make. I will post the pictures and links after I am done.Until next time, live each day to the fullist and be blessed!

Mission Accomplished !

Today I started listing items in my Etsy store. I already like Etsy because it is very easy to list your items. I only have patterns listed right now but I have alot more to add. The people there are nice also. I already have a friend to critique my store and give me advice and vice versa.I am so excited about having a store. I hope I do well.

I also was able to complete a project I have been working on for months. The project was not hard or anything, I just didn't pick it up. From this experience I remember why I don't start several projects at once.Something is not going to get done.

I have alot of project ideas I would like to create so when I have time outside of work and family life,I will be working on them as well.

Please feel free to come browse my store anytime.

Until next time be safe and enjoy each day you are blessed with!

New Store in the making

I have been a member of Etsy since 2008.Etsy is a website where you can buy and sell handmade items. The do allow other things as well but please go to their website for more information. I have been visiting that site for quite some time now and I finally decided to try my hand at selling on Etsy. After, of course, I started spring cleaning my home and found out I have more stuff than I room.
From what I have researched Etsy is suppose to be much cheaper with their fees than others.
If you have time please check out their website. Don't be suprized if you find something you like there. Have fun!

Christmas Gift Complete!

I finally finished my first crochet cable stitch afghan. Although I didn't finish it until a week after Christmas, she still loved it ! It made me feel good to know that all my hard work was appreciated even though she is also a fellow crocheter and could have made it herself. As you may have figured out by now her favorite color is purple.I had a few skiens of purple yarn laying around so I figured why not try something different. And we now have the finished project. So today , I will leave you with this , it is never too late to venture out and try something new.So just grab your yarn, crochet hook, pattern, and a hot beverage and dive in ! Enjoy!
